Gifting items for display in the Museum
The Museum has one of the most complete and comprehensive Regimental Collections in the UK and is not looking to acquire any specific items at the moment.
Our Collections Policy makes reference to the following items that we will consider for donation:
Medals belonging to a former or current Soldier of Shropshire
Bundled archive papers and photographs relating to a Soldier of Shropshire
Nevertheless, should you have an item or artefact other than those mentioned above, and you wish to donate it, we are always happy to discuss. For details please either e-mail the Director [email protected] or telephone: 01743 358516.
Click here for the latest version of our Donation Guidelines.
Please do not bring items to the Museum without first making contact with the team, as we cannot accept them.
Gifting unwanted items for Sale Only
If you have any military items or military books that you no longer require and would be happy to donate for us to sell and use the money for the benefit of the Museum, we would be very happy to receive them.
If you have anything that you think may be of interest to us, please e-mail the Curator at [email protected] or telephone: 01743 358516.
